You guessed it! We broke up. It was a good year, yes it was. Four people came together with different musical backgrounds with only one thing in common: the love of music itself. The differences too brought us together: each band member could contribute their part to make the full picture. In the beginning, optimism and hope of one day "going somewhere" kept the band going forward through endless jams, practices, and fruitless recording sessions. Over the year, the band changed into many different modes of music, some subtle and others drastic, and also changed band members, but always managed to keep things "Slip of the Lip." In the end, musical differences that brought the band together broke the band apart, but like all things, life goes on. Slip of the Lip was an experiment in music, not entirely groundbreaking, but a good experience for the band  as well as whoever was curious enough to listen. Thanks goes out to anyone that lent us an ear.

LOWGUN forms from ex-Slip members Mark  on guitar, Mike as singer, and Allen on bass, with the addition of good friend Jimmy McLarty (Anxiety) on drums.

PINK ELEPHANT a band comprised of ex-Slip member Mike on drums,  and Allen on guitar, with the addition of good friend Alec Giel on guitar. Still looking for bass player and singer.

SLIP DRUMMER GRAHAM joins hardcore band BOUND IN BLOOD. They play shows often, so look out for them and go.
