| How D-Basses started: I've been a musician since the mid 60's who learned to repair and maintain my basses while on the road. I stopped playing in the 1980's, but wanted to stay close to the business, so I started doing repairs and setups for local musician friends. Many times I heard "Why don't you open a business ?" So, in 2001 I decided to give it a try. With a little help from my friends, D-Basses came to life with my CandyApple Red Precision Bass and NOW, We have a Jazz bass just like it.
