Tribal Dragon w/ Chinese Symbol
This is the tattoo on the back of my neck. The symbol means dragon in Chinese. Many people mistake it for a horse. The dragon is my chinese zodiac sign, but I don't like the look of chinese dragons as much, so I opted for this design. I got this tattoo in Findlay, OH. It is taken from a "flash" on the wall of the tattoo shop.
Trio of Dragons
This tattoo is on my left shoulder. It was my very first tattoo. There is a lot of history with this tatto. My friend Benjie has the same tattoo on the same arm, kind of a bonding thing I guess. The design came from a stamp that was offered in the Dragon catalog that I get called Dancing Dragon. Being that it was my first, its oddly coincidental that I got the tattoo in the town of my birth, Zanesville, OH. Again, a dragon theme. ...Oh and just in case you can't see it very well, there are 3 different colored dragons, each grasping the back leg of the dragon in front of her/him.
The Eye of Horus
This tattoo is on my right shoulder. It is the egyptian symbol called the Eye of Horus. It is a symbol for good health and luck. This tattoo reflects my love for ancient egyptian and other ancient cultures. Many people mistake this tattoo for the Eye of Ra, but the Eye of Ra is represented by the right eye, not the left. This design came from a book about the movie "Mummy". I got this tattoo in Findlay, OH.
Bear Paw
This tattoo is on the top of my left wrist. It is a bear paw. I believe the bear to be my native animal spirit. I identify with its great size and power. Many Native American tribes also attribute the bear with great wisdom. The design comes from a typical "flash" of a bear paw. I got this tattoo in Columbus, OH.
Black Furies Symbol
This tattoo is on the underside of my left wrist. It is a symbol from a role playing game called, Werewolf: The Apocolypse. It represents a tribe of all women werewolves. This tattoo remindes me of the strenght and power a woman posesses. This came from the Black Furies Character book and I got it in Findlay, OH.
