Pete Burns certainly knows what a hard time is.  He's been subjected to both physical verbal assaults as well as letters and phone calls from cranks and phychopaths.  He's  had his change thrown at him in shops and old people still tell him he should be shot.  At one stage he was banned from every gay club in the city when even his passive presence caused fithts.  All this simply because of his apperance - some people seem to find Pete Burn's very existence a challenge. " Im not vain in that I like to look perfect and really fetching y'know ?  I just couldn't go anywhere if I didn't look like me, and this is what I look like."
