\\ Story 
The story began when Kudo Shinichi, the 17-year-old highschool detective, had a date with Mouri Ran at Tropical Land. While they're dating, crime happened. Shinichi was able to find out the criminal and end the case. However, Shinichi still suspected two men in black who were the suspects in previous case. So, he followed them and saw the crime committed by one of them. Without caution, Shinichi was hit by a hard element by the other man. He was unconscious. The man in black poured an poison drug into his mouth. Then, he and the other man left. Shinichi woke up and found out that he was turned into a 7-year-old boy. 
He ran to his neighbour, Dr. Agasa, quickly for help. Dr. Agasa found clothes for shinichi to wear. Suddenly, Ran came to ask about Shinichi. Shinichi in the 7-year-old boy body hurrily picked up glasses to wear and when Ran asked for his name, he glanced at Dr. Agasa's book shelf and saw a book written by Sir Conan Doyle. So, he answered, " Edogawa Conan " and told her that his parents were in foreign contry. Dr. Agasa suggested that Conan go to live with Ran whose father was a private detective, Mouri Kogoro, who was a quite lame detective that time. Quite lame ? I mean extremely lame. Anyway, to go and live with a detective, Conan might find out something about those two men in black. While Conan's staying there, he solved all the cases by using sleeping gun and voice-changed bow tie to immitate Kogoro voice. This made Kogoro a very famous detective and lots of cases came in his hand. Meanwhile, Conan's trying to find those two men in black in order to find a way to turn back to the same Shinichi.
