CUDDLY TOYS | ||||||
The group Cuddly Toys started from an advert Faebhean put in the Melody Maker in 1976, he lived very near the Kings Road and knew quite a few of the people who became the first punks. He was in one of the very first punk-groups called Swank which supported Adam and the Ants first gig at the Man in the Moon (Kings Road, Chelsea) in 1976 and was interested in making his own group which would be much more colourful and dramatic than a lot of the groups of the time. An advertisement was placed in Melody Maker asking for people to join a strange new movement. Tony Baggott joined first, he’d seen the Sex Pistols at the 100 Club and was fascinated with this new sound and ideas. Sean joined a week later. It was more like a social club at first, with no real music being done, just going to see groups and hanging round with the early punk ‘scener’s. ( CLICK HERE FOR THE COMPLET BIO ) CUDDLY TOYS MENU |
