These awards were awarded to fanfiction posted on the DunnesDarlins Mailing List between May and July first of 1999. A voting committee of non-authors were selected to vote on various categories given to them by the Darlin Awards Committee. Every fanfiction that was started between these dates were given to them, so every fanfiction had a chance to win. Unfortunately, not every fanfiction could win; although, they were all very deserving. The final winners are listed below.
