Now, the point of this little expose'.
I'm totally fed-up with everything I've seen over the past 50+ years concerning politics, racism and the Confederacy.

Did you see anything on the preceeding two pages that was offensive?  I didn't!  I was born in the North, Toledo Ohio to be exact.  I served this nation in the USAF for 22 years, I raised my family in the belief that this country is the greatest ever formed.

The Confederacy was not to blame for today's social ills, just as the church (in whatever form you wish to visualize it) isn't to blame for today's social illness.

There are many symbols in the world, most are good and up-right.  A few have been perverted for political ends, a few for personal ends.

The symbols of the Confederacy are symbols for "states' rights".  For those of you who don't know, or remember, "states' rights" is the underlying concept of the U.S. Constitution, where-in the several states have total control of their own destiny and the Federal government is there only to act as a liaison between them and to guarantee the overall security of all the states as a union.

The symbols of the church are symbols for decency.

For all you wahoo's out there that have told me that "I" oppressed you and your ancestors,

For all you wahoo's out there that don't like my religious beliefs,

For all you wahoo's out there that seem to think I and my family owe you something,

Go To H...!

I'm 55 years old, my family wasn't even in this country until long after the Civil War, and we came from a country that didn't even have slaves.
I did NOT oppress your great-grandfather!
I will pay no reparations to you or to any organization claiming to represent you.  If the Federal government ever decides to do this "for me", rest assured I will also pay no more taxes to the Federal government.  My hard-earned money will support nobody in any kind of scheme to get rich off history.  There is a movement a-foot at this time to give the black people of this country "reparations" for the suffering of their ancestors - what a crock!  My ancestors were subjected to all kinds of injustices too.  My great-grandfather was held in a prison camp in Ohio, simply because he was German and newly arrived here, in 1917-1918.

My church teaches love of God and my fellow man.  I did NOT burn your churches, or hang you or your relatives!

I don't want to hear it anymore!
