Well, I may listen to mainly punk music, but I've always liked ICP (Insane Clown Posse), a rap/horrorcore duo. And here are just a few of my ramblings on them. Well, for a start, I'll address their main albums that have been released. Here are my reviews on all of those: Carnival of Carnage: released in 1991. This was the first jokers card of the ICP's, and although I haven't even bought this, apparently it is supposed to be good for an early album. Not alot much more to say though now because I've never listened to it, the songs I've heard however, Your Rebel Flag and First Day Out, are alright, alot different to what you'd expect if you've listened to Milenko. Ringmaster: released in 1994. I've got this album, it's pretty cool, there are only two songs I don't like, and those are the intro (who likes intros anyway?) and The Dead One, because thats just a waste of space on the album, really. But the other songs are quite cool, this album is good if you're just getting into ICP. Riddlebox: released in 1996. According to quite alot of people, this is their favourite album. I haven't got it, but I've heard alot of the songs on it, and it's damn good. The Chicken Huntin' remix of the original on Ringmaster is really cool, you should like that track, but most are good, anyway. The Great Milenko: released in 1997. The first ICP album I bought out of the four I have, and definately my favourite. All the songs, apart from the intro, are good on this album, and if you like ICP and haven't got this album, I recommend you get it. Amazing Jeckel Brothers: released in 1999. I haven't got this album either, but apparently, ICP have supposed to have gone downhill since Milenko. Less tracks are as good quality and more talking than rapping in them, which people obviously don't want. If I were you I would ask around and try and borrow it or get some songs off napster before you buy it. Bizzar/Bizaar: released in 2000. Now I bought both these albums, and I hate to say it was a goddamn waste of money. More songs had talking in than rapping on both albums, but some were funny I must admit, but they didn't size up to Milenko, being both funny AND quality songs. Get these if you're a die-hard fan, otherwise, I wouldn't really bother. There, according to my opinions (which many share) ICP have gone downhill, and need to get back on track if they want to keep their fans. But although it has been taken off the shelves for the time being to add Anybody Killa instead of Marz, the new Psychopathic album, Dark Lotus, is very good. That's the end of my review. Thanks for reading/skimming through.
