You know how you always dream about what that "perfect" house will be? For us, there was always a dilemma between country and city. We wanted land and the open feeling of living in the country - being able to actually see the stars at night. Yet, we also liked living in the city - neighbors close by, amenities, not having to drive an hour to get to a store. We lucked out with this house. It was literally love at first sight, I think for all of us. Not only are we closer to shopping and downtown, but we have Queeny Park for a front yard. We wake up to horses in the field across the street, cows in the pasture next door, wild deer in our back yard, and we can actually see the stars at night! What more could we ask for?
