WCW Cruiserweight Title Match
Chris Candido with Tammy d. The Artist with Paisley
Tammy said she would show hers before the match began, but before she could disrobe Chris Candido quickly covered her up. After missing a huracanrana off the top rope, The Artist quickly went for the rolling schoolboy, but got the 2 count. While the two women fought on the outside, Tammy got hold of a chair and cracked The Artist over the head with it. This allowed Hard Knox to get the flying leg drop and the win, thus earning the Cruiserweight belt. After the match, The Artist and Paisley tore off Tammy's dress.
WCW Hardcore Title Match
Terry Funk d. Screamin' Norman Smiley w/Ralphus
Backstage, WCW security had to point Funk to Smiley's hiding spot, where Screamin' Norman quickly sprayed Terry in the face with a fire extinguisher. They fought with anything they could get their hands on, with the mystery partner, who was dressed in catcher's gear, following their every step. After clobbering the mystery partner with chair shots all the way to the ring, Funk revealed the mystery partner to be none other than Ralphus. Funk pinned Smiley for the win.
Interview w/David Arquette
David Arquette told Mean Gene that he was scared about the Triple Cage Match later in the night.
"The Perfect One" Shawn Stasiak d. Curt Hennig
This match went back and forth throughtout its entirety. Stasiak had the sleeper hold on Hennig, trying to wear him down. After making a strong comeback, Curt Hennig lost the match to Stasiak, who pinned Curt with his own move, the Hennigplex.
United States Title Match
Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner with ladies d. Captain Rection
Hugh Morrus told the crowd he was know going by his real name. After putting on a bearhug and a series of other moves, Steiner was is control. But here came Captain Rection. Fighting with all he had, Rection hit a series of splashes in the corner, but ran right into a Steinerline. Scott then put on the Steiner Recliner, allowing him to win the match. Here came Booker, who ran down the ramp, entered the ring, and dropped Steiner with the Harlem Sidekick.
Interview w/Chris Kanyon
Kanyon told Gene that Mike Awesome would find out that no one is better than Kanyon.
No Contest: Mike Awesome vs. Chris Kanyon
Chris Kanyon showed Awesome what he had early on but was almost knocked out with a chair shot, delivered to the head by Awesome. As Mike was setting Kanyon up for a powerbomb, Kevin Nash entered the ring. The New Blood followed and jumped Big Sexy. But here comes the Millionaire's Club, sticking together as one and watching each others back.
The Total Package d. Buff Bagwell
After Luger beat Bagwell with the Torture Rack, with the help of Liz, Chuck Polombo, a power plant wrestler, attacked Luger and put him in a very familiar submission to Luger's....his own torture rack. After making Liz watch, Buff took her back to Russo.
The Franchise Shane Douglas d. Ric Flair
After Nature Boy's series of hard chops to the chest of Douglas, a man with a Sting mask entered the ring and hit Flair with a bat, leading to a pinfall and win for Douglas. The masked man then hit Flair over the head with a mini Statue of Liberty. It was revealed that the masked man was David Flair, Ric's son. pulp.
Sting d. Vampiro
After exchanging shots with a lead pipe, Sting hit Vampiro with 2 scorpion death drops, for the pin. After the match Sting continued his assault with massive blows to Vampiro's head, using the lead pipe.
Interview w/DDP and David Arquette
DDP reminded Arquette to stay on top and not to grab the gold.
Interview w/Billy Kidman, Eric Bischoff, Torrie Wilson and Kimberly
Kidman told Tenay not to kiss Hogan's ass. He said Bischoff would call things down the middle.
Hulk Hogan d. Billy Kidman
This match was a brutal beating for both Kidman and Bischoff. Looking for revenge, Hogan pounded Kidman, several times whipping him with his belt. After Bischoff refused to count a pin on Kidman, Hogan punched Eric to the mat. After hitting Billy with a chair and powerbombing Bischoff through a table, Horace came in and counted Kidman out for the 1-2-3 using Bischoff's hand, leading his uncle to victory.
Interview w/Jeff Jarrett
Jarrett told Mean Gene that "The Chosen One" would regain his title.
WCW World Title Match
Triple Cage Match
Jeff Jarrett d. David Arquette and Diamond Dallas Page
Possibly the greatest match of all time, this triple cage match was one not to miss. After missing a splash, Arquette was laid out. Jarrett used the ladders outside the ring, smashing them into the ribs of DDP. Jarrett followed Page to Level 2 where they used several weapons to bash each other. Arquette had climbed all the way to the 3rd level, when Mike Awesome climbed to the 2nd level. But he got a diamond cutter for his troubles. DDP and Jeff then made their way to the third level. Just as DDP pulled himself to the top, Arquette nailed him with a guitar to the head. Jarrett got possession of the belt and became WCW World Heavyweight Champion once again.
DDP was set up for the Awesome Bomb when Kanyon climbed up. But he was then thrown off the cage by Awesome, coming to a crashing thud on the ramp. The New Blood celebrated at the top, as Slamboree ended.
