Production Data
The Eagle Premier was produced between October, 1987 and December, 1991; the Dodge Monaco was produced between February, 1990 and December, 1991. The production target was 260,000 cars, as Chrysler had committed to buying that many engines from Renault, or paying a penalty. Unfortunately, they came up short:
