| Musical Instruments Guitars: I play an Ovation Elite 6 string acoustic/electric U.S made guitar. ... " I love the sound of the Ovation guitars...the warmth and openness really astounds me! I found out there's quite a few familiar musical folks who play the Ovation line as well some are Shakira, Shania Twain, Steven Tyler, Ziggy Marley, Rick Neilson, Joan Armatrading and Adrian Legg to name a few. In the near future I would like to aquire an Ovation Legend 12 string. whooo nice guitar. I have just acquired a Epiphone EJ 200 it's really nice for those open tuning songs like 'Indian Summer' from the Red Road album.It has that great bottom end and really sweet neck...It's so beautiful looking with all the blonde wood. I am a happy guitarist! Native American Flutes: My first flute is an American Jefferson creation made of aged Alaskan Yellow Cedar in the key of D# it has always been a special friend and has an amazing story to share. I am also very proud of my new Bass 'C' Cedar flute made by Odell Borg acquired while on a journey to Sedona, Arizona recently. I also play a Kestral Double Flute in 'D' and the new Black Walnut Crow Flute built by Odell Borg all of High Spirits Flutes. Odell makes a very beautiful flute indeed, his attention to detail and absolute great sound make his flutes a great choice for any aspiring flutist. The Kestral is made from American Maple and has a sweet sound and is also unique to my shows. I also play a Canadian made Ron Keller custom made Lakota style 6 hole in f#, really nice almost has a reed sound! Traditional Drums: I play a traditional 15 inch hand made Singing Drum and several Traditional Native Rattles. On the Whale Spirit CD I also play the Australian Didgereedoo as well as several other instruments. Watch for my new Instrumental album 'Morning Dancer'' coming out soon. . |
