| The Eastern Arizona Motorcycle Riders was founded in November, 1985 by three local couples. They felt that a club that would cater to all types of riders would be an asset to the local community. It worked well and has varied in size as the motorcycling community has changed over the years. We are located in Safford, AZ, in Graham County which is approximately 30 miles north of I-10, Exit 352, at the junction of US Highways 70 & 191. Information as to where and when we have our club meetings may be found in the latest copy of our newsletters.You will also find ride info there plus all of the latest activities that we are planning. Our annual rally is held at Firth Park which is located at the Safford Chamber of Commerce on US Hwy 70. It is normally held in late April or early May so check out the newsletter for the exact date. | Our club is dedicated to the improvement of our local communities through charitable donations to those in their time of need. We have given the benefits from our past rallies to places like the "Safe House", "The Stir", the "Blake Foundation" and Special Olympics. E.A.M.R. does as much as, if not more than most to help the needy, elderly, and /or the handicapped. We have provided financial assistance for education and seminars, Thanksgiving food boxes, Re-built used bicycles to less fortunate children at Christmas, flowers to accident victims, and clothing and necessities to fire victims. We have members ranging in age from their teens to seniors. We come from all walks of life and have a wide variety of skills and interests. The one thing we all have in common is the love of motorcycling. It is what brings us all together to make this organization what it is. We do not promote any one type of motorcycle in the organization. All of our functions are open to the public, whether you ride a motorcycle or not. You will find a listing of our club officers in the newsletter. Elections are held in November of each year.
