"For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled." 2 Timothy 4:3
Welcome to the site. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I am encouraged to do deep personal research into spiritual matters to "make sure of all things" (1 Thessalonians 5:21). One of the things that recently caught my eye was the proliferation of so-called "gay Christian" ideas reported widely in the British media at the time of much dispute in the Anglican Church. These are ideas spread by gay-affirmative "christian" groups among Christendom, believing that homosexual acts are acceptable to God, and the scriptures condemning them have been supposedly "misinterpreted" due to apparent "homophobia." A certain gay apostate group has also jumped on the bandwagon and has stolen these same ideas (albeit in an overly-emotional and poorly-researched way).
These ideas attempt to 'explain away' the scriptures condemning homosexuality. Their arguments can be seen through almost instantly by anyone unbiased who possesses a good knowledge of the scriptures. However, I decided to do some further investigation. Not only have I found their arguments to be even more illogical than I could have possibly imagined, but I've also found them to border on absurdity and, in many cases, insanity.
Hence, I composed the following pages as part of my personal study. I've used many sources in my research; however I must make mention of two particular Authors, Joe Dallas and his book 'A Strong Delusion', and Thomas E. Schmidt with his book 'Straight & Narrow?' All Scripture quotations are, of course, taken from the best Bible translation the world has ever seen, the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures with References (1984 edition) available from Jehovah's Witnesses.

Cat and Mouse
When I first wrote these essays, I was determined to refute every argument of the "gay christians" for the sake of being thorough. However, I read 1 Timothy 1:3-4 which says not to "pay attention to false stories and to genealogies, which end up in nothing, but which furnish questions for research rather than a dispensing of anything by God" and 1 Timothy 6:3-11 which says, in part, "If any man teaches other doctrine [not that] of our Lord Jesus Christ... he is puffed up [with pride], not understanding anything, but being mentally diseased over questionings and debates about words... However, you, O man of God, flee from these things."
Indeed, the Gay Christians are playing a constant 'cat and mouse' game. They come up with a way to twist a scripture, after others have disproved it, they just come up with yet another way to twist it, and the cycle continues.
I could go on and on refuting each new idea they think-up, but it would be pointless. They are obviously ungodly liars and believe whatever they want to believe. Dedicating any more effort to this subject would simply be a waste of my time. I've made my point, the research done is sufficient, and as far as I'm concerned the matter is closed.
