by WABC’s retooled morning news in the November sweeps by a slim margin. The promo had to be changed following the
dismissal of Fran Charles, the show’s sports anchor. This is the updated 30-second version.

WSBK “UPN 38 PRIME NEWS” CLOSING THEME - 1998

This
is the closing theme from the now defunct 10 p.m. newscast at UPN station WSBK
in Boston. The newscast, which aired in
the mid 90’s, was produced by New England Cable News and anchored by Margie
Reedy and R.D. Sahl. On September 3,
2001, the station began airing a newscast at 7 p.m. produced by new sister
station WBZ, the CBS station. The theme
is a cut from the One & Only package by composer Frank Gari.
