L'Auryn est l'amulette dorée de la Petite Impératrice. Elle la représente et celui qui la porte représente la petite Impératrice. Ce bijou est formé de deux serpents, un or et l'autre argent, chacun se mordant la queue. À l'endos, on peut y lire " Fais ce que veut". Donc, lorsqu'on porte l'Auryn, on peut réaliser tous ses voeux et souhaits. Cependant, l'Auryn n'a pas le même effet avec les créatures de Fantasia qu'avec les êtres humains. Par exemple, Atreyu la porte pendant toute sa mission et n'a aucun effet négatif. Pourtant, avec Bastien, c'est différent. Plus il utilise l'Auryn, plus il oublit ses souvenirs du monde réel. Toutefois, un humain qui n'a plus de passé ne peut avoir un avenir. Il peut donc être dangereux pour les humains qui visitent Fantasia d'utiliser excessivement l'Auryn.

The Auryn

Auryn is the Childlike Empress's golden amulet. It represent her, and the person who wear the Auryn represent Childlike Empress herself. This jewel consists of two snakes, one gold, one silver, each biting the other's tail. On the reverse side of the amulet, we can read " Do what you wish". So, when you wear the Auryn, you represent the Childlike Empress and you can realise everything that you really wish. But, the Auryn doesn't have the same effect with creature of Fantasia and human people. By example, Atreyu who wore it during the quest got no problem. But with Bastian, that was different. More he use Auryn, more he lost his souvenir of the real world. And a human with no past can't have a future. So Auryn can be dangerous for human who visit Fantasia.
