Commensalisms

     This is a symbiotic relationship in which one organism benefits. And the other is unaffected.

     Some examples of this kind of relationship are:

By growing high on the branches of trees, the orchids can obtain enough sunlight to carry out photosynthesis.

A remora is a small fish that attaches itself to the underside of a shark. There it feed upon leftovers from shark’s meals.

We found our house—the planet—with drinkable, potable water with good soil to grow food, with clean air to breathe. We at least must leave it in as good a shape as we found it, if not better.
