Marine Biomes
The marine biome is a saltwater environment that includes oceans and their shorelines. More than 70 percent of the Earth’s surface is covered by marine biome. Physical conditions within the marine biome vary tremendously. Light, temperature, and water pressure all change in depth. The salinity or salt content of the ocean also varies from place to place. It also contains a rich diversity of living things.
