Descendants of John Hooser
(a.k.a. John Hauser)
(1792 to c1860-1870)

John Hooser, an early a pioneer of Red River County, Texas, settled on Pecan Bayou in the community of White Rock, which is about 7 miles northeast of Clarksville.  He brought his family to the newly created State of Texas from Tennessee around 1846.  Some of John's descendants remained in Red River County, many went to Ellis County and Navarro County, TX, and others spread out across Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arizona (and points beyond).
