Special Squares
Decisions, decisions....
Special Squares had a variety of functions, mainly moving, but there wer a few other things. Here's a list of each Special Square's function.
Go Back 2 Spaces was more or less like another Big Bucks square.
Move one Space provides the choice of the two squares adjacent to it. The choices at first were catchy, like either $200 + a spin or a Trip to Mazatlan. Most people chose the large amount, however, sometimes their next spin proved that they should've gone with the extra spin. As the show progressed, choices became more and more obvious (i.e. $500 vs. $1000 + a spin. DUH).

Big Bucks took the player to square 4. HOORAY!

Advance Two Spaces, located in Square 11, took the player past Square 12 to Square 13.

Go Back to spaces, located in Square 6, took the player to Square 4. Basically just another Big Bucks square.

Pick a Corner was interesting when it debuted in early 1984. Located in Square 6, it gave the player the option of the other 3 corners. In the beginning, it had some pretty obvious choices (Whammy vs. 1500 vs. 2500. Yes, Peter, I'd like the Whammy, please!) Later, square 10 had nothing but prizes, 15 had a prize, $1000 and $1500(both with spins). The Whammy was soon moved down to Square 18 to avoid the Whammy choice. Later on it suffered the same deterioration as Move 1 space.

Across the Board, located in Square 17, took the player across the board to Square 8, which, at the time of this square, guaranteed cash and a spin. This debuted in mid-1985.
