So what is Chip's Challenge, you ask? It's a very popular maze game that came with Windows Entertainment Pack 4 and Best of Entertainment Pack. The roiginal was for the Atari Lynx console. The gameplay was very simple. You control Chip, a little guy whom is trying to impress Melinda the Mental Marvel. Your main goal is to collect all the chips in a level and reach the exit before time ran out. Of course, some levels had no chips and/or time limit. But this was only the primary challenge. You had to do this all while avoiding hazardous traps, dangerous obstacles, and LOTS of Chip-eating creatures. Sounds easy? Trust me, it's a lot harder than you think.
I do not have the original Chips.exe file. However, I DO have Chips.dat. But how are you going to run it? One day, I found a nifty program that lets you run Chips.dat, CCLP2.dat (which by the way is CC2) AND any level packs you've created with CHIPEDIT on it! In it you can play them both in MS and Lynx mode (besides CCLP2) and all with superior graphics! To find all the files I've mention, just head over to the Downloads section.
