What can I say except that this was a strange show in the fact it was a one-time merger between Algae Afterbirth and GG. GG had this gig booked and no band and so Algae's band became the outfit for this gig. They opened with a rousing set of their own, with Algae covered in blood and junk and his Diaper. GG was not impressed, with a few drinks and a lot of anger this performance starts. The tension was captured here and you can relive this infamous show. GG made his final live appearance in Rhode Island this night. Bound for the midwest where he would discover the life of incarceration, harden, and eventually die in New York City of a drug overdose, this show displays GG's confrontational style that would eventually get him hated and adored by millions. I remember this cold February night as I covered my back seat with newspapers and drove GG back to New Hampshire with the windows rolled down doing 60 or better. Not realizing their future value to fans we threw the newspapers out up the street from GG's after dropping him off.
