M. Cindric: Do you consider GG and The Scumfucs to be punk or hardcore or none of the above?
GG: I don't know what the fuck we are. None of the above and more.
MC: Why do you have a different band on every record you do?
GG: Nobody can put up with me for more than that and vice versa.
MC: What gives your early stuff a pop song structure? What influenced you?
GG: Dirty, sleazy early 60's stuff is alright.
MC: Who are your early influences?
GG: Stooges, MC5, Morrison, etc.
MC: What do you think of the political bands around these days?
GG: Fuck that. I don't need to be preached to about that shit, I got better things to do.
MC: What do you consider your theme songs?
GG: No Rules, Drink, Fight and Fuck, You Hate Me and I Hate You.
MC: How many copies, on the average, do your 45's sell?
GG: 1-2 thousand, sometimes more. We got distribution now with Rough Trade, Bomp, etc.
MC: Why are you banned at practically every club you've ever played?
GG: Because we do not compromise on our no rules stance. We also like to break things and get head on stage. Most anything can happen.
MC: What kind of crowd do you get?
GG: Basically fuckups and street people. Scum. Lowlifes and girls who like to suck cock. But we'll play for anyone.
MC: Do you like (the) Meatmen?
GG: I like meatwomen. Cunt odor rules.
MC: How do you feel about straight edge?
GG: I say to that drink, fight and fuck. Straight edge sucks.
MC: Will there ever be a second GG album?
GG: Only if someone will pay for it. Who knows, some stupid fuck might do it.
MC: Are you trying to change anything with your songs?
GG: I'm just saying do what you want.
MC: What makes GG happy?
GG: Eating pussy and getting more scars on my bruised body.
MC: Do you have a job?
GG: Yeah, I have a job and it sucks. Don't they all?
MC: What do you do to amuse yourself?
GG: Work myself into convulsions.
MC: Have you ever blown up anything?
GG: Yeah, I just blew my load.
