Once again the E.L.B.S. held a Display at Vincent Park Shopping Center. 11 Budgerigars were on display - the aim of the day being to draw more public to our show the following weekend.
Its such a shame that so many people had so many different ideas, as to what type of birds we were displaying. We still are getting asked . “Oooh, What type of Doves are those.” ???? and “My husband said I have to buy him a canary - how much is that one up there?”
We feel exhibitions like these are rather a necessity - even if just to educate some people re the difference between a budgie and other types of domestic birds. The ELBS will most definetly be hosting more of these exhibition so keep a look out in your local shopping center you might just see us there. |
