| Main I went with my friend Greg M. on a hiking trail near Levenworth, WA called Collchuck. At the end of it is a rather scerene lake and some very cool looking mountains. The hike itself is very pretty, but itdoesn't compare to the lake:-) Collchuck: #1 This is a creek we passed by on the way up. I just barely avoided those blasted sun glares... (there's half of one at the top of the pic :p) #2 The surrounding forest. Trees. Lots and lots of trees. Thanks GOD for trails! #3 Greg on the left, me on the right, and the lake in the background! #4 This is the lake at the end of the trail. It's really nice up there, and it's even got fish! #5 Standing above the lake and looking over it at the hills and mountains beyond it. #6 I thought this was rather neat. It's a dead tree that's coming right out of the water a few yards from shore. It might make a good postcard. #7 The Mountains with one end of the lake a their base. Look cold up there? :p #8 This and the next one are a sweeping view of the mountains from half-way up the trail. Originally there was a pic taken between the these two scenes, but it wasn't that great. #9 #10 A stream that kinda reminded me of Silver Falls. Yes, I was on a bridge for this :p |
