| Silver Falls |
| Main Silver Falls is halfway between Wenatchee and Chelan WA. Judging by the stone footpaths and bridges I think it was worked on by the CCC when the program was in operation so it's not a strenuous hike like Saddle Rock or any of the places in Levenworth, but it's still rather beautiful up there and it has a really neat water fall. #1 Forest! Lots and lots and lots of trees! #2 This was kinda interesting to take. I think I was standing on that log when I took. #3 Some time ago we had a nasty forest fire. Here's what it left behind. Not much... #4 Mountains. #5 Here's the stream that travels down the mountain from the waterfall we were heading to. #6 Further up stream... #7 Here the stream hits a heavy slope, and a few logs managed to get snagged in it. #8 This is taken from under the waterfall. #9 Taken from the side of the falls, just under it. #10 Close up of the falls, this time in front of it where I belong :p #11 This is the best of the lot. It's a wide angle of the falls andspillway. Really nice. |
