I took some time off from this blog and my web site. My book is trudging along slowly and I needed to focus more on that. Yeah, I'm writing a book but who on the net isn't? Only difference is, I'm actually writing one, not just saying I'm writing one for years when in reality I'm just playing The Sims. Well, it's been some time and now I'm back in large part because someone I care about seems to have missed my work here and it's all for that person. Yes, that's very enigmatic, but this IS the internet, so it's best not to be TOO open about my life.
Life, for what it's worth. Finally tied back into the title. I'm only alive when I'm dreaming or writing. Only alive when I'm furthest from reality. I have no idea why I said that, it just seemed natural. If you're looking for some grand revelations, there are none. Well, there are a few. I'm about to break a cardinal internet rule and be completely honest. I'm just an average guy. I'm not rich, actually far from it. I don't like to party. I'd rather stay at home because I don't like people that much. I'm not especially brilliant or especially stupid. I'm just another human being in the herd of human beings who dwell upon this island Earth.
