UPCOMING MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT JANUARY 1998

The Phoenix Arizona Chapter of the Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA) will hold its regular monthly meeting on January 12 at the West Coast Executive Park Hotel, 1100N. Central Avenue, Phoenix, AZ. The featured speaker for January 12 will be Orville R. Weyrich, Jr. PhD of Weyrich Computer Consulting, who will speak and moderate a panel discussion on the topic of "Year 2000: A Computer Consultant's Perspective". Experience with both commercial and internal tools for Y2K testing and remediation will be discussed, along with other topics of interest to consultants and small businesses.
Dr. Weyrich has 18 years of experience in the field of computing, ranging from projects to reverse engineer COBOL programs, to testing engineering FORTRAN programs, to real-time control in C and C++.
This presentation is the Phoenix ICCA's Second Annual Community Outreach session, which is targeted at both professional consultants and the broader business community.
Early reservations for this special session are particularly important.

The Independent Computer Consultants Association (ICCA) is a national nonprofit organization with chapters in most major U.S. cities, comprising over 2,000 independent computer consulting firms. The Phoenix Chapter was founded in 1980 as the Arizona Computer Consultants Association (ACCA), and later became a chapter of the ICCA.
