Subject: A note from Pat Townson of Telecom Digest
Hi,remember me? I was the former moderator for c.d.t. and this Digest for many years until three months ago when major hell started coming down on my shoulders as a result of an aneurism or stroke I suffered at the end of November last year.
I won't bother to explain it all here. This message you are reading now was started AT 8 00 am this morning and it is now 6:45 pm with two paragraphs done.
Let me get this out of my system now. I am going to quit the digest and my other endeavors on the net for now. I cannot do this work spending 12 hours per day proof reading messages.
Plus, my mother has started bitching once again, for the third time today with her prayer of St. Francis which she feels should be good enough for me as well as her. Because I was comatose for a month as part of this incident she cannot seem to understand why I am bitter and frustrated by the past three months, and she seems to have no idea why the net means as much to me as it does. All she seems to understand is standing over my bedside in Topeka and carrying on, about me being in a coma for a month and while I appreciate that she needs to know how I feel now.
Anyone who wants to chat with me more about the events of the past three months can call me direct at 316 331 7557 in Independence, KS. I have been placed 'on leave' from the Kansas Rehabilitation Hospital for a one month to see how well I can benefit.
Also they (at the hospital) want me to return for BRAIN SURGERY ABOUT THE FIRST OF MARCH and the recovery from that will take some time as well so I might as well just give up now.
Anyone who needs to contact me can do so at my mom's house, where like a vegtable or a rock I am drawing social security disability, contemplating my future, and admittedly feeling bitter and frustrated about where things are at.
