| Lara Rostron Biography
Lara is best known for presenting the late look north bullitens and for occassionaly
standing in for Carol Malia to present the 6.30 program. She has many appealing features her long shapely legs, her vivacious charm, warmth and kindness and obvious intelligence, for me there is a certain vulnerable quality about the way she looks though, in her beautiful eyes and hair style that makes her irresistable to me. Information on Lara is hard to come by unfortunately considering the sea of ropey tarts (jordan, jodie marsh etc etc etc) the tabloids inflict on us each day its a travesty that truely beautiful classy and down to earth women like Lara and her look north colleague Carol Malia arent given more coverage, anyway Ive cobbled together what information I could find about her from tinternet to give those unlucky enough not to be familiar with her some idea of what shes like. When she was younger she wrote to Jim'll Fix it to try to fufill her dream of being on tv Jim never replied but thankfully the beautiful Lara found her own way on to our screens eventually albeit by an unusual path which included teaching in the Himalayas doing some building in Zimbabwe and working for a time at a little chef. This lovely incredibly cute local babe worked on a local radio station whilst at university whilst she does have a great sounding local accent someone as gorgeous as Lara would have been wasted on radio and luckily after completing an MA in broadcast journalism and working for a time on radio newcastle as their durham area reporter she started to work for look north as their Cumbria repoter. Last year Lara took part in the Durham Allcomers regatta as a member of the The Bonkers Boat Crew made up of BBC staff so you could have seen her stroking away in a bid to please her teams cox if you had been at the river wear that day. It sounds like it was a really fun day actually carry-on esque puns aside. One internet report on Lara describes her work on covereing a story to properly mark the mass graves of many young men who had lost their lives in the 1909 colliery disaster. The relative of one of the disaster victims praised Lara for showing great sensitivity and kindness whilst interviewing people for the story and attending proceedings. Just one example of what I have observed from watching her on tv over the years and which Ive heard about Lara from other people ie not only is she a fox she is a talented journalist who touches the people she works with.
