My Classroom Community:

I believe that in order to promote a strong learning environment, classrooms must have a strong learning community. I will provide an environment where:

• All students can learn
• I will have high standards for both my students and myself
• I will promote a safe environment for all students
• I will establish clear routines
• I will create and implement rules, consequences and rewards and have them posted on the wall
• I will provide clear expectations
• I will teach students to respect others and their differences
• Students have ownership of the classroom (ex. student work on walls, and Student of the Week)
