Recently when I was in Waikiki (2001) I visitied with Kathy Nance on the North Shore.  She has a lovely home near this great beach.

Denny and I visited the memorial site at Pearl Harbor.  It is a sobering experience. Security is very tight.  So if you go don't bring any bags or cameras.

Autumn certainly loves the sand.

My name is Joy Tilley. I live in Charlottesville, Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I met my husband, Ken, at the University of North Carolina, where we were both journalism majors. After living in Charleston, South Carolina, and Chapel Hill, North Carolina, we moved to Virginia in 1986 and love it here. Our tabby cat, Henry, was adopted from the local SPCA.

Joy at a 25th wedding anniversary brunch

After working as an ad layout artist and copywriter, in a newspaper composing room and book publishing production department, as well as many temp jobs, I have “retired” to being a homemaker. I enjoy reading, classical music, crossword puzzles, and needlework, and have a mania for china, crystal, silverware, and table linens. Like many of you, I rediscovered the Zorro of my childhood on the Disney Channel and have been enthralled ever since by the one true Zorro, Guy Williams.
