08.05.04 - Picked up a bunch of TRL screencaps from a website called GettyImages. The only problem is the site name was marked right across all the pictures! :( Damn copyright. 30.04.04 - Just got word today of Eric's scheduled TV appearances (note: these are also listed on the Home page). Expect to see Eric first on MTV's Making the Movie: Troy on May 1st @ 12pm, & May 2nd @ 11:30am and again at 11:30pm. Next Eric can be seen on The Oprah Winfrey Show, May 3rd. After that Eric works the late night talk circuit with The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on May 4th and Late Nite with Conan O'Brien, on May 11th. Mark your calendars!!! 28.04.04 - Guess who's back!? Yes the webmistress has returned and I would like to offer an ENORMOUS apology to all of you for my sudden absence. In short, I was not able to access this site to update it, but that's all behind us now -- look out for TONS of new stuff in the next little while as I try to get back up to speed. For all of you who sent me emails asking me to link to your Eric fan site I am soo sorry I was not able to do that, but I promise now I will! 25.11.03 - SuperHeroHype.com has reported that a new writer has been hired to pen Hulk 2, and there is rumor of that a TV series based on the movie is in the works. The Hulk sequel is slated for a 2006 release, and you can read more about it by visiting SuperHeroHype.com!

16.11.03 - 2 PHOTOS of Eric on Phillip Island for the 2003 Australian Grand Prix have come in today from Ducati.com. Here's a tidbit from a spectator at the venue: "I didn't know it, but yesterday Eric Bana was here at the track. For those of you who aren't familiar with him, he's an Aussie actor who is bad ass! One of our favourite movies is the movie Chopper which was based on a true story. He was good in that, as well as Black Hawk Down. He was the American "bad ass" who went in and saved the troopers and said the line, "They don't know why we do it!" Or something like that. Anyway, (enough with the rambling) I wish I'd known cause' I would loved to meet him. And for those of you who haven't seen Chopper, I recommend it." Thanks dude. 13.11.03 - Popular Aussie singer Holly Valance (who accompanied Eric to the London premiere of The Hulk) has nearly gone bankrupt over a court battle with her manager, but she still had time to namedrop in a recent interview. When asked if she feels more comfortable now in the spotlight, she replies, "I just don't feel like I belong there and I'll only go if the movie stars one of my favourite actors, like Eric Bana in The Hulk." 11.11.03 - The rumor reported last week about Eric being cast in Ridley Scott's new epic is seemingly untrue. The report stated that Eric and Brad Pitt were to star alongside Orlando Bloom in Ridley Scott's upcoming Crusades epic, "Kingdom of Love". The facts are that the film is actually titled "Kingodom of Heaven", with only Orlando Bloom being confirmed as a cast member. Unfortunate, but we're gonna have to lay this rumor to rest. Sorry!

04.11.03 - Reports have come in from OrlandoMultimedia that prime-time news-magazine Entertainment Tonight will be broadcasting the teaser trailer for Troy on Wednesday, November 5th. Set your VCRs and check your local listings for times and channels!
01.11.03 - The latest news on the Troy teaser trailer comes from Jas at OrlandMultimedia. She wrote: "The teaser trailer for Troy is supposed to be on some copies of The Matrix Revolutions (and...LOTR:ROTK). It lasts 1 minute, 22 seconds. It begins with a magnificent shot of a vast fleet of ships. Scenes of Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, and Eric Bana in several scenes of battle. A glimpse of the Trojan Horse and a sweeping scene of a massive siege suggest an epic film." Great news to hear and thanks to OrlandMultimedia for that update!
Movie theatres should be receiving the Troy teaser poster sometime before Thanksgiving (or within the next couple of weeks).

27.10.03 - An extra from the Mexican set of Troy has given us an account of his experience on set. Here's a little snippet of it: "I think that the fight that I like the most is one where Eric Bana kills Brad Pitt's cousin (Patroclus played by Garrett Hedlund). I was in the first line so I could see the fight right in front me, something that impressed me is that Eric Bana did not need a body double to film his scenes. The fight was awesome, and he seemed very very mad, and all the extras started to say: "HE IS GOING TO TURN INTO THE HULK" and we all started laughing." There is more, but I'd rather you read it yourself on The Orlando Bloom Files because the rest of the account contains POTENTIAL SPOILERS (one thing I will tell you: Eric did NOT use a stunt double - wow!!) Also, there are 5 photos from the set (none of Eric) that you can see. Enjoy!

23.10.03 - I've posted 13 (small) photos of Eric at the Hollywood Gala awards, on the Award Shows page. Eric was not nominated, but he did present an award to his Black Hawk Down and Troy co-star, Orlando Bloom. Here's a report from Lisa (from OrlandoMultimedia.net): "Eric Bana presented his award. (very gorgeous!) I don't know if I can remember word for word but he said he had been honored to spend six months with Orli working. He joked that each day Orli would invite him for coffee and then make him make the coffee LOL!!! Bana said Orli got away with it because he loves him." Awww! How cute. Hopefully we'll hear some more buzz about the ceremony in the next week or so.

18.10.03 - 2 reports have come in from AMA Superbike.com, that Eric was spotted in the paddock/race pit on Friday afternoon. Eric has been a long-time fan of the beautiful Ducati motorbikes, owning a classic 888 Superbike, as well as a Monster 900. 11.10.03 - A quote directly from the set of Troy: "We just returned from a trip to Cabo where we stayed at the same resort that the majority of cast an crew were staying. The remaining extras all left Sunday September 28th, and at least some of the lighting crew left Saturday October 4th. The extras are great "eye-candy" and we were told by some locals that they are expecting to have a lot of Bulgarian babies next year. I do have to say that all the cast and crew we encountered were very polite and the resort seemed to genuinely enjoy them staying there (not just the money they brought in)." What that means, I'm not totally sure but I bet you'll hear some more stuff in the days to come. Stay tuned... *also, if you're an Orlando Bloom fan, there's a really good NEW pic of him in full Troy garb, from Full-Bloom.net!

10.10.03 - The Z Review has reported that the filming of Troy will continue until November -- way past schedule. You can expect to hear that tension and stress levels on set will be running very high in the next weeks. Good luck Eric!

29.09.03 - More bad news from the set of Troy: six men hired as security guards for the set were arrested on Friday for allegedly stealing a 2003 Honda dune-buggy, a chainsaw, and an air compressor. The men had complained before that they hadn't been paid since before Hurricane Marty hit, and were likely trying to compensate for losses. Read more at E! Online News.

28.09.03 - Warner Bros. has announced that the filming of Troy is being halted due to Hurricane Marty, which destroyed the Mexican set. Not good news for a film that is already over-budget and past its deadline. Sources in Los Cabos say that none of the actors or crew were injured, though over 1000 extras on the film had their homes destroyed, and are now living in shelters. 27.09.03 - Has Guy Ritchie pulled the trigger on his 2004 flick, 'Revolver'? The Z Review has posted this update: "News reaches us today that Guy Ritchie has stopped production on Revolver and will instead make a project called Six Shooters. The movie takes place in the last days of the Civil War." As far as casting goes, Brad Pitt was set to be alongside Eric, but as we know both of these boys have been busy filming Troy. Maybe Guy will find a place for Eric sometime in the near future (we hope!).

25.09.03 - Rumors have been swirling about the internet this week that Troy is set to wrap up this Friday. Sources have not confirmed this yet. Troy has been highly publicized lately because of their over-budget, past-deadline filming schedule, so this might be good news for all of us. (It also means that production stills will be released very soon - yay!) I'll keep y'all posted.
