DURAN DURAN PHOTOS BY PAUL EDMOND

I was sent by Sounds.  They wanted a front cover, so I look lots and lots of pictures with them as they were.  None of them made it on the over, as it goes. What happened is this, I photographed the band on Saturday morning and I was back in Birmingham that evening.  Then I met up with Jon Mulligan and we drove to Cardiff and stayed up all night and all the next day. Spandau Ballet were playing in some small wooden club in Cardiff.  So I photographed them and stayed up all that night, went to night without sleeping.  I developed all the Duran Duran stuff and all the Spandau Ballet stuff and I got my friend Kasper de Graaf to take it all to London the next day,  where he was a staffer on Smash Hits.  The Sounds deadline was Monday and he was going to drop it off for me in Covent Garden by 10 o clock.  Unfortunately he was late.  Duran Duran missed the front cover and thatīs why this session is Duran Duran Unseen.  -  Paul Edmond DURAN DURAN MENU           /           PAUL EDMOND MENU
