EMMA BELL

Last September I left New York for a quick stop at the London Fashion Week only to attend the show of Emma Bell at the Vauxhall Fashion Scout. Not that I didn't think that the other designers were worth seeing ...of course they were, but I absolutely love watching a fresh vision of a young designer...it is so inspiring to me and to what I do.       I was able to go backstage before the show to witness the preparations and feel and to touch everything...with the help of creative director Alexis Knox and fabulous hair stylist Charlie Le Mindu, the show was in the right direction for a great fun production, and boy it was delightful foodland everywhere...I felt the inspiration being some type of an exotic fun food extravaganza that had a mix of eggs, popcorn, watermelons...all extremely fun and in a way sexy, with very vibrant colors. The knitting was different and beautiful. I feel in love with the shorts worn by model Michael Allen.       All the creative London faces was there in full force to show support to Emma Bell, and I was very happy that I was among them. The show started with a video featuring Scottee doing what he does best...I couldn't  stop laughing watching him dancing with pigs in the video.
