ALL OUR NOVELTIES EPs ARE RELEASED IN SPAIN, BY LOS ESCARABAJOS
GADITANOS, LATER CALLED LOS BEATLES DE CADIZ.
In 1965, Enrique Villegas had to organize a "comparsa" for the Cadiz Carnival. He named his "comparsa" as "LOS ESCARABAJOS TRILLIZOS" (The Triplets Beetles), but quickly they were well-known as "LOS BEATLES DE CAI" (as andalusian people pronounce "Los Beatles de Cadiz", The Beatles from Cadiz). They sang "Yellow Submarine", translated by them "Amarillo el palomino es, amarillo es, amarillo es...".
The group became so popular that they went to Madrid in order to record several records. In Madrid they were renamed as "LOS ESCARABAJOS GADITANOS" (Beetles from Cadiz)and later they were renamed again as "LOS BEATLES DE CADIZ" (The Beatles from Cadiz).
They were together until 1972. In all these years they were very famous, not only in Spain but also in South-America.
They even appeared in two spanish films: "Acompañame" and "Jugando a Morir".
