| The Republic of Eslo was founded in Summer of 1995 as a micronation. We have the objective of preserving nature in general and in particular, the rain forest. Eslo has well-established ideals and goals for our government and citizens. The functions of the Department of Foreign Affairs include the following: |

| Inform the King and the Legislative power about Eslonian Foreign Affairs and diplomatic interests. |

| Establish a foreign policy that fits the needs and interests of the Eslonian people. |

| Maintain a non-interventionist foreign policy and work toward intermicronational peace by free expression of ideas. |

| Establish, authorize, maintain and update diplomatic relations with other competent micronations. |
|
| Represent Eslo abroad through embassies, consulates general, consulates, and honorary consulates. |
|
| Manage, appoint, and supervise the Eslonian Foreign Service, Eslonian Foreign Affairs Board, and all the undersecretariats of the DFA. |

|
| Represent Eslo before intermicronational organisms. |
| Preserve, establish, promote and authorize treaties within our bilateral relations. |
|
| Expedition of passports, consular identifiaction cards, diplomatic credentials, visas of entry, and foreign birth certificates. |
