| It is my honor and duty to welcome you to the site for the Department of Commerce of the Republic of Eslo. The Republic of Eslo is a micronation, otherwise known as an imaginary country. However, Eslo is a system. In this system, we seek political, economic, social, foreign, industrial, and commercial policies that allow a "mock country" to be created. The Department of Commerce is an autonomous organism in charge of impulsing commercial growth amoung Eslonians. The DOC looks to implement the most modern and efficient commercial policies to ensure an always evident potential growth in Eslo. In micronationalistic terms, you counld say that the DOC is a window to how Eslo as a nation uses it's resources in order to build a strong ecenomy and still keep our environmentalist principles. Issues such as the above mentioned are very important to Eslo's commercial community. For example, we are strongly against sustained yield management. Our official views are that large companies would overthrow environmental policy and eventually have the government under their command. To many people, this creates a picture of subsistence farming and personal wealth distinguished vaguely over poverty. However, Eslo has industrialized zones that work and provide jobs. These zones are limited, and a greater focus is given to technological advances. Electronic technology does not polute, and it is very strong in the stock market. By providing training to individuals, Eslo is able to manufacture high tec instruments and cut down on the use of our resources. All of this goes to ensure the availability for resources in the future. Our growth will be steady through those means. We also have a strong commitment with the Department of Labor to monitor worker's rights in the Republic of Eslo. I am hoping to add much more to this page very soon.
