The Eslonian Plan Against Terrorism
After the Events of the 11th of September, 2001, it has become clear to The Government of Eslo that we must join the international effort to combat terrorism.
The role that Eslo will play has been evaluated numberous times in our legislative body, and has been accpeted by our excutive power.  It is now clear that Eslo will play an active role in cambating terrorism because of our firm humanitarian principles.
We will begin with a diplomatic campaign in the micronational arena that will seek to join coalitions with interests similar to Eslo's in the field of security.  The scond phase will be similar to our refugee, landmines, and environmental campaign.  This phase will include our government officials becoming experts on certain aspects of the issue of terrorism and impulsing education.  This education will have the main purpose of raising awareness among communities of what they can do to prevent terrorism.  However, the awareness campaign will not be limited to community-based programs.  Students at university and high school level will be presented with Eslonian official positions regarding the causes of terrorism.  Eslo will seek to have our theories debated by classes and published in the applicable media.  Model United Nations projects will now play an essential part in having our theories discussed.
Eslo has taken the choice to defend the Geneva Conventions vigorously.  In order to do this, we will condemn any action that we consider to violate this fundamental piece of international law.  We will continue with our existing campaigns for humanity, seeking to increase their importance rather than to let terrorism overlap important global issues such as third world debt and war affected children.
As a micronation, we plan to sign military treaties that allow for sharing of intelligence information.  However, these will now be coordinated directly by the Department of Defense by order of the Royal Executive Power.  The Department of Foreign Affairs will play an important advising role in the negotiation of terrorism treaties.
We will seek to join micronational mechanisms that may be set up by the League of Micronations of International Alliance.  The Department of Defense has issued three statements re-affirming our commitment to the Global Defense Treaty Organization.  We look forward to working with the fellow members of that organization in order to formulate a comprehensive ban on micronational terrorism.
Eslo will take a leading role in the fight against terrorism on the micronational scene.  The government stands united and is ready to work together.
