Eugenio Martinez is one the Fastest Guitar Players around. He can run on his acoustic guitar faster than most of the electric guitar players you have ever heard. Check out his acoustic guitar version in gypsy Flamenco style of the famous violin piece "Flight of the Bumblebee" (R.Korsakov) ?at www.mp3.com/eugenio_music and keep in mind that the Solo was done in only ONE TAKE (the first take). His incredibile melodic speed does't stay in the way of composing or playing a variety of different music styles: www.mp3.com/guitar_ballads www.mp3.com/film_music This year (2003), Eugenio winned the Acoustic guitar player category in the National Dutch Guitar Competition, and the 4th place for the best guitarist of the Netherlands.

Artist biography:       Eugenio is a self-taught musician, which developed his own technique over the years. He starts playing guitar at the edge of 16, initially playing electric guitar and Heavy Metal. At the edge of 21 he moved to Madrid where he broadened his musical experience and improved his music by living and studying Flamenco with the local Gypsy Flamenco players.      Traveling trough Europe, living out of music for the past 8 years, he performed in small venues (Tapas bars and small theaters) where he learned to sing, and developed a beautiful and original style of playing the guitar.       Eugenio possesses an admirable technique and a particularly expressive  clarity of tone in his solos.

At the moment living in Holland, studying music technology Eugenio is still busy improving his music. With his band "Eugenio Guitar Project" he plays a variety of styles, with an accent on music virtuosity, creativity and melody.His music is a mixture of melancholic and brutal emotions.        Eugenio simply loves music. Enthusiastically he studies it, lives it and plays it.
