1. Myself
My name is Eun-young Choi, and I was born in Busan, South Korea where I had lived for pretty much my whole life before coming to Salt Lake City. Busan is the second biggest city in Korea. One of my favorite parts of my hometown is the gorgeous beach near by my house. It always made me feel that I was in heaven especially on a really hot day in summer. I have been here since January 2006. I'm enjoying the "fickle weather". You can see the four seasons on one day. Don't take that wrong because I literally love the weather.
2. My Family
There are four people in my family: father, mother, older sister, and me. My father has his own business. I love him, and he is a great. I have a lot of memories with my father in my childhood. He has great dexterity, so he always made toys for me when I was young. My mother is a teacher of elementary school, and she is really good at drawing and not only that, but she also has a lot of talents like knitting and cooking. My older sister is a graduate student and majoring in oral translation. She loves shopping, and we used to go shopping all day long. I love my family and they are wonderful people.
3. My Interests
I love to do a lot of things like playing the piano, watching movies, drawing,
playing soccer, snowboarding, and doing yoga. I especially enjoy playing the piano and yoga, and they are favorite things to do in my free time. These really help me to get rid of stress. Recently, I've learned skateboarding. It is a little bit dangerous sometimes, but the speed and thrill are too attractive to pass it up.
4. My Future Goals
After completing the ELI (English Language Institution) program at University of Utah, I am going to change my major from computer science to computer graphics, and I want to study more about computer graphic animation and get a job as graphic designer.
