I'm an island girl :o)

There's something special about this island where I live. It's the easy, peaceful feeling which flows from the sea to the land and on into the people that live here, unlike anywhere else in the world. There are patches of Newfoundlanders transplanted all over the world and no matter where we go we will always find each other.

Newfoundland or sometimes affectionately called "The Rock", is a large island off the East Coast of Canada in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. We are 200 miles South East of the warm waters from the Gulf Stream. We have approximately 5000 miles of coast line. The Capital City of Newfoundland is St. John's. For Fast Facts Click Here.
