NOTE* Settings are altered from theControl Panel. The Control Panel is from the Settings tab of the start menu.
Background:
You can set the background of your desktop with the
in the control panel. Just click on the tab called (what else)
then just browse to wherever you saved the background.
Sounds:
Sounds are altered from theon the Control Panel. Simply click on the windows function that you want to change the sound to, and browse to wherever you save your sounds. Remember, not all functions NEED to have a sound. At first just alter those already with sounds. Here are a few suggestions:
- Critical Stop: Clicking growl
- Exclamation: Predator finding trap
- Exit Windows: Jungle Windows Exit (already there)
- Maximize: Jungle Maximize (already there)
- Minimize: Jungle Close (already there)
- Program Error: Predator sealing its wound
- Question: Predator smiling down at Dutch
- Start Windows: Jungle Start (already there) or Dutch's challenging roar.
Fonts:
Fonts are altered from thefrom the Control Panel. And this is the Predator Font. It contains the Predator 'Alphabet'. Very cool. You can add it to your fonts by clicking on 'File', then 'Install New Font' AFTER unziping the file first.
Screensaver:
Predator Screensaver coming soon! I am making it with Cool Pixels
You can change your screensaver from thetab, then choose your favorite screensaver.
A Word on Themes:
Some people may ask, "Why didn't she put them in a *.Theme?". Well as they say, give someone a desktop, and they have almost what they want. Teach someone to make their desktop, it's as personal as they. But if you really need the Theme here are some options I came across:
This one includes icons as well as pointers, sounds and visuals (Recycle empty, full etc.)
This one is a bit more tame, but still has some great sounds and pictures, worth a look.You can install them from the
in the Control Panel.
