Started work under K. Kodaka on some of her manga (Kizuna, Kimera, doujinshis, etc- mostly yaoi). In 1990, Sanami's debt work, Tenshi no Soba (Side of Angel), was published by Akita Shoten. Since then, she has become one of the largest mangaka of the shounen-ai/yaoi world, producing many works in association with BexBoy and Silver. However, not all of her works are boys love- there are a few fanatsy epics thrown in, too!
