In 2003/5763, Devorah, Tehilla, and Yoni offered to give the parents an anniversary gift - a Shabbat in a hotel. Since David prefers the comfort of his own home (it's part of his old age) he made a counter-proposal. He asked the children to prepare a HomeTel - a hotel at home. It would cost less money, and it would be more appreciated.

They did indeed prepare a HomeTel, and we had a great time. They brought in prepared food, and they prepared a full agenda of events and lectures. No hotel could have been better.
