* Go to Geocities homepage: http://www.oocities.org Click on the words ADVANCED TOOLS
* The next page will be titled FILE MANAGER. Click on "OPEN FILE MANAGER"
* This page lists all of your files. As you begin editing your existing pages and creating new pages, use the BASIC HTML EDITOR to do this. Later you may use the ADVANCED EDITOR. 1)Click on the box that says "Edit using...". It should say "BASIC HTML EDITOR". 2) Scroll down the page to the file you want to edit--click on the box to the left of the filename OR to the "NEW" box for a new page. 3) Click on "Edit" if you editing an existing file.
* Follow information on the basic page. Blue words are hot links. Click on the HTML hotlink for a basic primer on HTML. You should print this for future reference. You may use this code in the Basic Editor and in the Advanced Editor.
* "SAVE" your work before you leave the site.
