The Year T-FIVE was born is on 1997, Gordon and Yerry started it with an accapella group. T-FIVE first formation is : Gordon, Yerry, Paul, Dendy, and Victor. They called them selves T-FIVE because they came from the same high school (SMAN 20) except Paul, the meaning of T-FIVE is "Twenty Five" which stand for "five person that came from SMAN 20 (Twenty)" For now the meaning of T-FIVE stands for the greatest Hurricane made from 5 small tornado.

This Accapella group lasted for about one year and focused at Pure Accapella with no instrument at all. At the beginning year of 1997 they performed at Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta, Music Cafe Tour at October 1997, and at the beginning of year 1998 they performed at Studio East Surabaya. The Accapella days were awesome and they really kick ass!!! :)
T-FIVE band were born cuz the needs for improvement of music and velocity of urban songs...Yerry met with Hans a.k.a. Beben and they both agreed to merge their band so they can performed at UNPAR (University of Parahyangan) Bandung. The name of Beben's band is "Blue Guys" and the playaz are Beben (on Bass), Andi (on Keyboard), Rizal (on Guitar) , and Guruh (On tha Drum). After the show, life must goes on....

T-FIVE back with it's Accapella, and Blue Guys back with it's splendor songs. Several moths goes by...the clocks is ticking...(the birds are singing <--- WhatEva!!!) and they can't stand it any longer!!! Gordon, Yerry, and Beben agreed to merge their group once and for all.

The story of T-FIVE continuous...

The first formation are the mixture of 5 vocalist and 4 music playaz, but it didn't last long cuz Guruh didn't get along with the guys. After this tragedy the rest of tha Band members thought that they need another synthisyzer playa, so Aswin comes in and saves the day. By the way Guruh position was replaced with a young talented guy named Tom-Tom. After several show Dendy and Victor retired from tha Band cuz
they were not one with tha Band's vision anymore. And then T-FIVE meet Nino and take him as an additional vocalist until he becomes a T-FIVE playa.

T-FIVE's need for someone to manage them is fullfilled not long after T-FIVE band exist. The first Manager for T-FIVE couldn't get along with T-FIVE's member. And that goes to for manager number 2 and 3 :) After several times, this and that T-FIVE found the perfect match for someone to manage them. Budi A. Supardi a.k.a Butong comes and join T-FIVE in the year 1999 until now.

On October, 2000, T-FIVE gives a demo album to Mr. Gilang Ramadhan, a well known Indonesian Drummer. The demo album consisted of 3 songs:

(The song "Rindu Senyuman" has already been release before in a compilation album called "Indie Fame" which was launch on February 2000)

Mr. Gilang Ramadhan was intrigue by T-FIVE's music style and offer a collaboration with his company "Gema Insan Record (GIR) Production".

From December, 2000, T-FIVE under GIR Production started recording their first album at "Kantong Studio" Jl. Deplu Raya No. 10 - Jakarta (12330) Phone : 021-7363330 Fax : 021-73882496. Their first album was release on November 2001

T-FIVE is a group band with 9 personnel with an R'nB Hip-Hop music style. T-FIVE combines voice harmonization with Rap - Hip Hop, and even put some cultural taste in their songs such as "mIRC" and "Bu-Gil". the other songs has pure soul R'nB style like "Yang Terindah" and also Latin R'nB "Kau" and Pop R'nB.

T-FIVE hopes their album could put more variety in Indonesia's music and hopefully it could be accepted by senior musician, public, music listener and critiques. T-FIVE also wish that the band could bring Indonesia's Music to the international music world.
