• The first such known observation concerning ecplipses,alignments and comjuctions of planets and stars occurred on March 9, 1497, at Bologna.
• In 1500 Copernicus spoke before an interested audience in Rome on mathematical subjects.[Exact content of lectures unknown.] • He pursued medical studies between 1501 and 1503 at the University of Padua. • In May 1503 Copernicus finally received a doctorate--like his uncle, in canon law. • He published De Revolutionibus with his observations in 1542. |
