--------My Trip Across Canada on 1950 Chevrolet

I took the bus to Causapscal to pick up the car of one of my friends, Gilbert Didier. The car was an early 50 Chev. I stopped in many places. I decided to visit Campbellton in New-Brunswick my first trip in the province. I drove on highway 17 driving through towns like Menneval, Whites Brook and Kedgwick. Most of those places were in farming communities. I re-entered Quebec by Edmunston.

On my way to my sisters town, La prairie. I drove by the spectacular lake Tamiscouata and the town of Noter-Dame-du-Lac. Later on we stopped in Bic. When, Iarrived in La prairie, I was proud of showing the old car. We took some pictures beside it. Slowly, I left to work on my tree-planting job with Sauze Forestry.I had to stop every 100km to put a can of oil. I think my top speed was 100km. I stopped to Kirkland Lake to tree plant. Once done we left with my friend Lesley Fraser and another guy called Lee. He was an exchange student from Malaysia.

In Manitoba or Northern Ontario we ran into trouble. The car broke down. The old man was very happy to work with such a old car. Once fixed, we drove it across (almost) the country to Edmonton.
